Humor Saved Me (And I’m Not Even Joking)

I didn’t set out to build a brand.

I set out to survive.

There were seasons where things felt heavy in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve been there. The kind where you’re doing what you’re supposed to do, showing up for everyone, holding it all together…

…and quietly falling apart in the background.

And then somewhere in the middle of that, I started laughing.

Not because things were funny.

But because if I didn’t, I was going to drown in it.

Dark humor. Sarcastic thoughts. Saying the things you’re “not supposed to say out loud.”

That became my release.

And then something unexpected happened…

Other people started laughing too.

Not at me—but with me.

Because they felt it.

That’s when it clicked:

Humor isn’t just entertainment.

It’s connection. It’s coping. It’s healing.

It’s how we take the weight of life and make it something we can actually carry.

Jenetically Twisted was built on that exact energy.

The kind that says:

“Yeah, life’s messy… but we’re still here.”

And sometimes?

That’s more than enough.

Stay Twisted.
